Phillyboost
PhillyBOOST – is a system of city out-of-school time programs funded and managed by the Departments of Human Service, Recreation and the Free Library of Philadelphia. PhillyBOOST out-of-school time programs are marked by their use of our Efforts to Outcomes software (product of Social Solutions Global) and a commitment to continuous program quality improvement. Efforts and resources are being aligned to provide all children in Philadelphia, especially those in greatest need, with accessible, high quality programs and activities resulting in more and better opportunities for learning, while ensuring their safety and well being.
The PhillyBOOST project is made possible with support from The Wallace Foundation, the William Penn Foundation, the United Way of Greater Philadelphia & South New Jersey and Mayor Michael A. Nutter. Philadelphia's project is one of nine cities funded by The Wallace Foundation’s Next Generation OST Initiative. Locally, the Project Lead is Vicki Ellis, Executive Director of the School District of Philadelphia's Office of Strategic Partnerships.
