Childcare Site Supervisor:

This is a full time and twelve month position. 
Our Childcare program consists of a preschool classroom, two Head Start classrooms and a Pre-K Counts classroom; an OST program for children up to Grade 8 and a nine week summer camp. We are licensed for 140 children and reach capacity each year. We are a Keystone Stars Level 3 program pre designated for Level 4 in fall of 2016.

The position requires:
  • BA /BS Education
  • Teaching experience of 3 years
  • Familiarity with Head Start and Pre-K Counts curriculum and reporting requirements
  • Familiar with OST programs and reporting requirements
  • Produces necessary documentation: criminal history check, child abuse clearance, FBI and annual physical examination
  • Letters of recommendation.
 
Pre –K Counts Certified Teacher:

This is a full time position for ten months – September through June

The Pre-K Counts Teacher works directly with children by providing instruction regarding the following skills: motor, creative, manipulative, imaginative, rhythmic and language. The Head Teacher also plans and facilitates science activities and experiences which tend to promote effectively the physical, mental, social, emotional and aesthetic development of children of preschool age. The Head Teacher is responsible for documenting all activities, objectives and daily plans and maintaining a record of this information.

​The position requires:        
  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Learning
  • PA State Certification
  • Experience in working with Pre K through third grade children

An ideal candidate will have knowledge of assessments, ability to complete reports, be task orientated, superb time management skills, a leader who is able to gain knowledge and the ability to work well with a team of professionals.
